Friends, it has begun. The autumnal equinox kicked off when many of us were sleeping early this morning. As I type this, I’m sitting at a motel a few hours upstate from New York City where it’s rainy and chilly and I couldn’t be happier. The trees are losing their color, the smell of chemically created pumpkin spice drifts through the air, and I’m wearing pants. Pants! I love pants! So much so, that I’m going to start things off talking about pants for this, the first Diamond’s Guide to Autumn.
